It's been almost a year but after much researching and deliberating, I finally did it. I was pretty anxious but as soon as I'd set my mind to it, it was relatively easy and not at all painful.

Haha ... you phone overdid it just a little bit in the first pic! ;-)

Nice haircut - suits you.

I know, talk about airbrushed! I didn't even know my phone had that setting, it's the first time I'd used the selfie camera.

Thank you :) I just need to get used to the lack of hair now...

Nice haircut! Very handsome. :) (I think the pictures without "beauty setting" look better, the first one looks a bit overly plastic-y!)

Aw thank you! I didn't even realise my phone had such a setting! Obviously it thought I needed a little Photoshopping...

I think so, yes!

How do you feel about it yourself?

I like it at the moment but I'll see how it looks when it starts to grow out. I've found lately that no matter where I get my hair cut, when the back gets long it starts to look like it's all one length rather than shaped. It looks really dated, like I've got a mullet or something, it's awful! So I'll see what happens with this one.

Fantastic cut!

My phone has that same beauty setting and I cannot figure out how to turn it off. I actually hate it because it photoshops too much. Do you have a Samsung Galaxy?

Thank you!

I do, I have a Galaxy S5. If you tap the Beauty icon, a slider comes up, just move it down to 0 to turn it off. That's the only way I could find, there doesn't seem to be any option to remove it completely. Does that sort it for you?

Oh my gosh, thank you so much! It wasn't up very high, but enough to make me look 10 years younger in selifes, which is kinda nice, but also not realistic. I'm all about, "LOOK AT MY WRINKLES! I'M WISE NOW!"

You're very welcome! I'm glad that sorted it for you and you can now show off your wisdom to the world ;)
