You can also take a bus directly - without the shuttle - from Victoria.
EDIT: And I don't think the train + shuttle from Euston was 1 1/2 hours - they just tell you to take that much time so you really, really are on time for your booked ticket.

The train to Watford varies depending on the time you catch it. It can take either 22 minutes or 50 minutes. At the time I'd want it, it'd be 50 minutes. I don't know how long the shuttle takes, I thought maybe 15-20 minutes and just added a bit extra for traffic.

We had to get from Victoria to Euston by Tube and when we entered Victoria Station the whole upstairs was FULL of people, no chance to even get to the Tube. Still don't know what was wrong that day ... Thank goodness I kinda know my way around London!!! (Which means leave the station, take the bus to Westminster, take Tube from there!)

I think that's just Victoria. I read recently that it's the second busiest train station in the country with something like a quarter of a million people using it every day. I've only been to that station a few times but it's been manic every time.

It would be nice if someone could treat me as a birthday present! I only get presents from my mother and my sister so unfortunately it's not likely.

I feel you. Everything's getting crazy expensive these days to! :(

Prices are so weird, some stuff is way more expensive like books and video games while DVDs and CDs are super cheap. It makes no sense!
