Looks very cool, glad you like it and its not got too much junk on it, that really annoys me (I was looking at the Xperia something or other and it comes pre-installed with about half the memory's worth of apps and stuff you can't ditch, ugh!). I'm never sure on the pedometer thing on phones, how does it know you're actually walking and not just jiggling the phone about as you use it?
It seems to be a growing problem that so many phones come with far too much crap pre-installed. Annoyingly Vodafone puts their own crap on as well, it just gets a bit ridiculous.
Isn't that the same problem any pedometer would have? Being able to tell the difference between walking and just dancing about because you're dancing about freezing at the bus stop, for example.
Most pedometers I've seen are attached to your belt, so it picks up on actual movement, rather than somebody fiddling about doing other stuffs. And dancing about counts, checking facebook likely not unless you're really getting hot and bothered about the content! :)
It's very frustrating. The manufacturer adds their own apps and then your mobile provider adds theirs as well... and none of them are really anything you'd want or use!
Are you just meaning between Android phones or all smartphones? Something like the Nokia Lumia looks quite a bit different although a lot of that is down to the practically fluorescent colours it comes in. You can see them a mile off! And a lot of the new Sonys are incredibly square, they're not so rounded as the Samsungs are. I think they must be really uncomfortable to use long-term, I imagine that sharp corner is going to dig into your palm after a while. Mind you, the woman in Vodafone hadn't even noticed the shape of it until I pointed it out to her...

Don't you hate it when you buy a phone and heaps and heaps of apps are installed and they refuse to be removed? Urgh!

I think most modern smart phones look very similar to iphones. There's not much between the different brands imo
