New Harry Potter story!!

Major excitement in HP fandom this morning! JK Rowling has provided us with a further small update in the lives of Harry and Co post-Deathly Hallows. The Quidditch World Cup has been taking place lately and there's been various reports from Ginny about the teams and matches. Now there's an article from Rita Skeeter about Dumbledore's Army

I have read it!!! I read it the other day. I was so excited. I would love to know why Harry has a new scar - perhaps something Draco did?

They probably had a scuffle in a corner of the Ministry. I don't think we'll find out about why he got the cut, it's probably just to indicate that he's a hands-on Auror and still involved with fighting bad guys and all that. I'm more interested in the last lines, about Rita's new book coming out on July 31st. You know, Harry and Jo's birthday... Is that a hint at something?

Still don't see how he would be happy as an Auror. Really I don't.

I could just be reading too much into it but that's a very noteworthy date in the HP world.

I thought for a long while that he'd end up as a Quidditch player but I don't know what other job he could have in the magical world that would suit him. He goes on to be the head of the Auror Department too which I think suits him even less.
