In which Nathaniel is amazingly arty

I was in a creative mood a couple of days ago and I'd seen a tutorial for a 'Vibrant Peacock' which really tempted me so I thought I'd have a go. It was really detailed and took me a good three days to do (although part of that was because the person didn't specify to use RGB instead of CMYK so some of the blending effects weren't working properly

The background in the tutorial was more blue and purple but when I was tweaking the colours, I took it too far and ended up with the orange instead. I really like orange and purple together anyway, but when I saw that it gave the 3D-ish effect, I kept it.

There was a lot of work in it, there's so many layers in the body and a lot of shading detail in the head too. However, most of the tail is made up of one piece copied multiple times so that made it much easier!
