It seems that I am in gallivanting mode at the moment. On Saturday I went to Blackpool for their Truly Handmade and Vintage Music Fair. It sounded like it could be a lot of fun, especially with the craft workshops and music tutorials. Yay, looks like lots of fun! Except the disappointing fair in Blackpool. :-/ Even though Blackpool Tower had that weird neck brace on, I kind of like that picture. The muted tones are nice and the sky looks kind of sepia there. The National Media Museum sounds very cool. Love the Dalek (and its warning sign) too! And hee, that is a very helpful webpage from the Ministry of Magic. I'm so impressed.

I hope you get to do everything you want to do in London! And that there are lots of freebies and useful info at the allergy event as well. :)

I wasn't sure if I should hang around and see if the fair got any better but there wasn't really anywhere to wait. I actually went back just before I left because I knew there were free toilets there and it looked exactly as it had been earlier on and there was still no sign of the tutorials/workshops. I'm pretty sure the event was on last year so I expect it'll be on next year too. I'll have to remember not to go ( ... )

Fingers crossed for stuff going smoothly in London. Hopefully you can get into the allergy event! I'd hope that they'd let you in in her stead.

Isn't that always the way it works? You spend months not going anywhere and then a load of events happen at within a few weeks. After this weekend, I have no plans till the end of November so hopefully I will have recovered by then!

I think the Blackpool fair was a recurring event too - I'm sure I remember hearing about it last year. At least I've been now so I won't need to bother again.
