Back to work this morning. And early to boot. For some reason, I woke up 20 minutes before my alarm went off and couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I might as well get up. I got to work at 8.10, rather than 8.30 but I thought that would give me time to go through my e-mails. As it turned out, I didn't have that many. It took me a little

Wtf. I really hope you get paid too; it's bad enough that nobody knows how to manage anything properly and you had to go in for a full day when you weren't supposed to without denying you pay you on top of it.

Who is S in relation to M? M just seems beyond clueless, mismanaging so many things and being a complete hassle to work with. You just told her last week that you were going back to work today, she's apparently not calling you at the right number (or lying) since you never heard from her ... it's beyond ridiculous. And the manager going over your line manager's head is pretty irritating too. Part of being a manager is keeping people informed!

So much numpty business and ineptitude. I just want to shake them all really hard. Preferably upside down so all their money falls out and you can take that as your pay. :P

S is the branch manager. M definitely didn't call. I was in every day last week with the whole being ill thing (except when I went to the doctors on Wednesday) and I had my mobile and the landline phone on the table next to me. Neither of them rang, my mobile didn't say I had a missed call and neither had a message left on it.
