World Tour of America #6: Update 1

Oct 02, 2009 17:46

When I'm in Boston, I tend to write my update posts while Michael is at work which is Thursday and Friday afternoons. I've only been here a few days yet so I don't really have a great deal to write about. On Tuesday morning, we went grocery shopping and since then we've pretty much just been hanging out together. It's been very nice but it hardly makes for an exciting update.

Actually, it's probably good that we've had a quiet couple of days as after today, we've got quite a few things planned which will keep us busy. And give me more exciting things to post about. This is what we have coming up:

Oct 3: New England Trans United Pride
Oct 4: Harvest Fair
Oct 8: TranScriptions
Oct 11: Oktoberfest
Oct 15-16: Cole in Boston
Oct 17-18: Head of the Charles regatta
Oct 23-25: Translating Identity Conference
Oct 29: Speaking gig
Oct 31: Hallowe'en

Of course there's other stuff that we hope to do like apple picking, the Fenway Park tour, the Harry Potter Exhibition at the Museum of Science which opens on October 25 and just general going into Boston-ness. It's going to be a very full month!
