I went down to Manchester on Friday for the Pride Big Weekend. Three whole days of fun and frolics with like-minded LGBT types in the Village. Except that I was working for all of it so more like three whole days of sore-feet and stressing. I'd got a room booked at Weston Hall which is part of the University of Manchester so some of the rooms

That sounds like a weekend of total awesome, even if you're shattered now!

Did being part of a commuity feel positive, like, in the sense of acceptance as a trans man, or as a gay man or both?

It was definitely positive. It wasn't anything to do with being accepted because there wasn't any chance of not being, it was just about being part of something, such a large positive event.

And fyi, I'm not a gay man so I wouldn't have been wanting to be accepted as that anyway.
