I meant to say I'd read this thanks to your mentioning it.. was pretty good too, bit convoluted at times and yes I agree about the ending but most of it was fun so thanks for the pointer :)

So what are you reading now? If you like detective stuff I really enjoyed Linda Castillo's Sworn to Silence, chief of police in an Amish town in Ohio is called to investigate a serial killer who seems to have come back after 16 years, except she knows what happened the first time round and it makes things tricky, especially when the town council don't think she can do the job.. not explaining it well but its a good read! :)

It was good, wasn't it? Despite the convolutedness and sappy ending. I'm glad I found it and glad you enjoyed it ( ... )

I'll try and remember that - apologies if I don't at some point! :)

I loved Garth Nix's series with the bells, the names of which elude me but didn't get on at all with Mister Monday so haven't read the rest, glad you're enjoying them so much though, always good to find a series to get your teeth into :)

Oh, the one with Sabriel? The Old Kingdom series, I think it's called. Yeah, I really enjoyed that too and that got me into his books. He's got a new series out at the moment called The Seventh Tower actually. My sister said she couldn't get into Mister Monday either, so you're not the only one by the sounds of it. I have to say that this 6th book is the best one of the series so far though.
