If it's March 28th, then that makes it three years since I went to visit Dr Brownstein in San Francisco for my top surgery. Wow, three years. It doesn't feel like it's been that long at all, more like two. Actually, I had a proper book type book that I was in the middle of so I got on with that instead. I don't know if it's a series you're aware of, it's The Wardstone Chronicles. It's set in Lancashire - the original version - and it's pretty good.

*googles* Oh, Spooks Apprentice. I read that a few months back. Inventive and well-written but I didn't like it enough to hunt down the sequels, glad you're enjoying it :)

I got it from the library and they happened to have the first four books all in so I thought I might as well get the lot while they were there. I found the second and third ones better than the first actually. Not often that happens!

I'm sorry you had such a crap day, sweetheart. I wish I'd seen your post earlier. It figures that this would be one of the rare times that I wasn't compulsively refreshing my friends list. I am aware that this post is probably a wee bit late, but *hugs, tea and chocolate*! I always find that tea and Harry Potter re-readds make everything better. I hope something similar worked for you!

Also, congrats on the three years :)
