World Tour update: Week #5

Nov 28, 2007 12:14

I'm writing this super-quickly because I don't want to spend too much time online today with it being my last day here. Michael has taken advantage of my using James Mason to play My Sims on my DS while it's still here.

I'm sorry we both didn't get to stay longer! It was good to finally meet you, though, so I'm glad I got to go home even for a short while.
Having just been through Philly 2 days ago for MY layover, I can say it has been much improved since I last flew through there. They do tend to have delayed takeoffs though, as they're a bit paranoid about the weather. And, this is wierd...but I flew on US Airways too when I came back here. They're pretty good.
As far as wipe-clean calendars go, I've got a nice big wall one from Office Max that's probably about 3 feet by 2 feet, with a little notes column down the side and lots of notes space on the back. If you wanted a bigger one maybe you could have one for a birthday present or something like that.
And squee, I have a tag!
Have a safe flight! *hugs*

I didn't like having to change at Philly on the way back, I would much rather have got on one plane and stayed on it. After all I'd been told about US Airways and Philly being rather crap, they weren't too bad. At least the plane was a decent one which was more than I can say for American Airways.

Thanks for the offer of the bigger calendar but I think the one I got from CVS is fine. I'll put it right next to my pinboard so it'll be okay.

You've had a tag for ages! Probably since you were my little brother.

He didn't get so much as a snifter of anything! Mind you, neither did I and I've brought them all back with me untouched! Your parcel got posted out on Tuesday morning and it should take 5-10 days so it should be with you pretty soon!

I'm sad too :( Hopefully we'll be able to see each other in another six months, that seems to be the usual gap between visits. It'll depend on how much work I get between now and then, and how much money I can save.
