Yesterday, Charles was officially proclaimed as King Charles III in a ceremony at St James Palace and then at the Royal Exchange. It was televised for the first time at the King's own request. I'm sad the funeral is on Monday, because that's when I'm travelling up to Wernigerode, so I probably won't have an TV time.

That's unfortunate. It seems as though the service is at 11 and there'll be a procession before and after so it's probably going to be more of a full day event. You might be able to see some of it at some point.
