Just saw it on FB ... I don't know him either.

Apparently he was presenting an award at the BAFTAs that night. It was on the TV when I was changing channels so I watched a few minutes which happened to be the time when new Doctor was on. I didn't even realise it was him!

Thank you so much for sharing this news! I have to admit that I was hoping for Alexander Vlahos, but it looks like Ncuti Gatwa has the acting chops for the job. I'm really curious to see what he'll bring to the role, especially in the new RTD era. I just hope he isn't talking a mile a minute and bouncing off the walls. I'm kind of done with that.

I'm so far out of the loop, I was surprised to see a post in one of my FB groups announcing the new Doctor. I only vaguely knew Jodie's (forgot her last name) reign was almost up. I've never heard of the new guy.
