Italy and Russia

i have good news! :D There's this Bologna competition for kid's illustration going on in italy and the pics i sent in to school were selected to take part in that competition. That's pretty cool. I don't really think its good enough for their standards but it's nice to get selected. XD Huzzah, right? :D

Oh, is it this fair? I've been there twice as a visitor and it's pretty huge and... I don't know, intimidating because of all the business folks from all over the world o_O;; I never resolved to show my portfolio, lol. But you get to see a lot of awesome illustrations. Good luck for the competition!

ow... you've actually been there??? man htat is so made of awesome. :D Our teacher told us it's pretty fantastic, all the work up is stunnng and it makes me want ot visit as well. :D

I don't know how the application works, as it was my school who did all the work for us. But why don't you try to send in your portfolio? You've got lovely work, I'm sure it'd be worth it! :D I mean even if it doesn't get selected, lots of people will have seen your work and that particular person who needed your particular style may contact you back... No ? ;)

I wouldn't be inclined to do an exchange to Russia though, if only because I would absolutely suck at learning the language. I don't really have any good advice about it though. :\

same here. I dont wanna learn a new language... and besides i dont think id ever use russian again... also i actually dont think my parents would agree but that is beside the point. XD
