Okay,

What is a good compressor for me to get? Obviously this is one of the few things software cannot emulate very well. JOHN, I think I need your help mostly.

I need something to make my basses and drums hard.

RNC compressor... (stands for really nice compressor) they kick ass..

uhmmm other than that... Dbx makes some nice compressors.. especially for live situations... but there are a ton of them.. look for an RNC though.
