YES ABSOLUTELY because the irony was that book was The Dreamcatcher and when I got to this part of On Writing I laughed and laughed and laughed.

I think many of us have read the beginning of that certain bestseller and said to ourselves, "WTF is this crap?"

I don't remember what that first book was. I only know there have been a lot of them--mostly because I am a fairly indiscriminate reader of profic. As long as it falls in my wheelhouse, I'll read it.

I've read lots of books like that :D However, given that I am yet to actually finish writing a book, they're doing better than me... so far!
