Wait, they had a Canadian version of those books? Nowai! I totally have the Titanic one of the American version. Because, you know, when the movie of Titanic came out, I was super obsessed. Huh. I don't know much about Canadian history, but I'm kind of mildly amused that there's a Canadian version. Something I never thought of before.

Yup! I only ever read a couple of the American ones, but the Canadian ones pretty much introduced me to every historical event in Canada that I ever cared about. I recommend them if you ever find them in a bookstore :)

I need to find more of the American ones, because you do learn a lot through them! I'll totally have to look for them, if I can find them, because I know nothing about Canadian history.

I've heard lots about Dear Canada, but I'm more familiar with the Dear America series. But it's cool that there was a Canadian version :)

Out of curiosity, how popular is the Dear America series in the USA?

I kind of wish that more countries had similar series - it's a really fun way to learn history (especially if one is a girl in the right age bracket :D)
