A question!

Since I brought up masterlists in my last post...

What information do you like to see on a fic masterlist?  Titles, pairings, ratings, lengths, summaries, fest names, other things??

regarding fandom

I look at the fandom and pairing. If those are things I read, I look at the summary, and if that intrigues me I glance at the length. It doesn't make me NOT read it, but it might make me put it off until later when I have more time.

Well I just finished (I hope) my attempted masterlist.

I've put in pairings, ratings and maybe a little additional info on some, but not on others.

I think people can click on links if the pairings make them go "oooooo" and then read the header and see if they want to go further.

Author name, title of the fic, rating, warnings (if applicable), where the fic's hosted (Ao3, LJ, FF.net, etc) pairing, and a brief summary.

Fandom, pairing, rating, length, genre?

Genre is more or less facultative if I have an idea of what the author generally writes, or if I'm interested in the pairing anyway (because I'll click, and then if I see the kinks will squick me I'll just skip it).
But genre and summary can be nice when you write rare pairs... I know I'm intrigued by rare pairs, but a combo rare pair + an interesting summary/kink is an even better way to raise my curiosity.
Basically... all the things. That's one of the things I love so much about fanfic (compared to porn): you know what you're going to get, and yet there's still plenty of room to be surprised. BEST.

All the things!

Namely title, pairing, rating, length and summary
But fest names might be a good addition too
