And the day started off rather well, too. The 4th Sunday in Lent, Laetare Sunday. The Sunday of Joy, liturgical colour: pink...I went to Mass in my new church, amazed to find the church choc-a-bloc. They were fine last night - well, chafed and hurty, but basically, fine. This morning, though...they're black and blue, and painful and stiff, and walking is quite a challenge - but I think it's just that they're bruised quite badly. The kneecaps are still in their proper place, as far as I can tell, and the cross ligaments don't feel as if they've sustained any injury.

I will watch them, though, over the coming days.
