That was a game I wrote a detailed set of locations for, then found myself inspired during the game and improvised a huge amount more detail and new locations,
I agree that being inspired whilst running your game is an important aspect. Its a fine balance between crafting enough of the scenario to make things pop but not overwriting it so as to leave relatively large areas blank to be filled in by the inspiration when you play the scenario. This is what keeps GMing it fun IMO
