I was able to settle in for a little more Mass Effect last night. (For those of you who have not been on my journal during one of my "beating this game, brb" kicks, I will post a lot about this for like 5 weeks and then you will never hear about it again. Believe me, as a fellow player of Mass Effect, a sense of patience is required, but I understand that you want many things to go ka-blooie in the quickest fashion. I was never good with a sniper rifle myself, so I tended to stick to shotguns and assault rifles personally.

I also completely understand about the Mako. When you have to take it carefully through those spots with the 'OMG, You Fail If You Even Look At Me A Certain Way" areas, it's like trying to drive a hippo in a shopping cart or something. Three words: total suck ass. It is kind of refreshing to unleash a main cannon shot to wipe out a batch of enemies, even if it does give less XP if I recall right.

Just stick with it, have a little more patience, and don't be afraid to whip out the grenades or biotics if you want to clear out the enemies faster.

That's what I'm using, trouble is my gut always tells me to charge in when it's clearly stupid. I press A a lot. )c:

I haz no biotics because I get weapon ADD when I have too many maneuvers to pick from and end up spending more time worrying about what the best thing to use is than actually playing. Guess I'll have to tell my guys to use theirs instead.

The bright side is that the next time I play Halo, driving the Warthog will be a walk in the park by comparison.
