Man, sounds like an awesomely freaky session. I love the Jack bit. Personally though, I wouldn't have let the PCs get away with giving Anthony a pen and paper - I would have had the pen turn into a severed tongue in his hand. But I'm creepy like that.
And also - damn, Louie gets beaten up again? Teresa's going to be kicking his arse next. Or maybe it'll be frigging Cathy. I should have minmaxed him better. All that natural armour seems to be doing him no good at all...
Glad you approve. Now I almost wish I'd done the severed-tongue thing, but I did enjoy getting to be all prophetic and creepy through that character too.
Natural armor doesn't do anything against slash/stab, which is what Knife Hand is, unfortunately. He absorbed damage just fine in the fight with Ally - the problem was he couldn't hit her because she has Dex 7, and every time she tried to put him in a wrestling hold he broke out of it thanks to his superhuman strength, so it was like an eternal stalemate that had to be broken with yelling/dialogue. And the PCs are pretty psychotically twinked out right now, so I probably should've given him more than 200 XP!
Boo hiss - I must have skimmed over that bit about natural armour. Dammit - I hate munchkining inefficiently! I should have gone for ten levels of Hard to Kill or something instead. Or at least bought some sort of disarming combat manoeuvre... ;)
Yup, it's only demon armor that can deal with both - the version in the corebook is bash only. And if you want to revise the character sheet, that's cool with me. (c:
