They just keep distancing themselves from him. I wonder why? [/sarcasm]

I guess it should say something... jabrwock August 17 2006, 17:15:38 UTC
if the local DA doesn't seem too thrilled at being named a defendant. Tells me that he doesn't really agree with the law itself. A strong indication that maybe it's not a very good law.

When will they can grasp that games = speech, that adults play games and have 18+ games, being anything from porn to mega-gore? Let the rating system handle it; after all the Movie, Porn, and Game industry does "ok" to keep some things out of the hands of "children". Is it perfect? No, but it's better than creating a "one nation under a smiting Christian god that wields hate and distrust of others"... whatever happened to god being "light, love, and balance"... Oi vay, these days are screwed up.

Fixed to become a bit more legible.

Easy there Zippy, nothing's really happened yet. This is only about a preliminary injunction, which I'm pretty certain will go through. All these trials follow the same pattern, and this piece of garbage law will end up in the dumpster just like the rest of 'em.

I would pay to see the Godfather of Soul in the courtroom, btw.
