Number of idiotic senators who think games should be censored or something to that effect, despite movies and such not being so: Well, there's 50 states last I checked, and what? Roughly 20 senators are outspoken about this?
Number of gamers that are legal to vote: Easily over half of the number of gamers
..of that letter xorleep darkhelm got from Dianne Feinstein. Same basic idea: "I'm going to state my position, then pretend that your opinion matters." I love non-commital phrases like 'your views...will be very helpful' and 'This legislation is currently pending'. Lovely statements that tell us nothing useful at all.
In other news, what's with that picture? When I first read this piece, I could totally picture her screaming "Where the hell are all these gamers coming from?"
"xorleep" I've seen the name butchered worse... I understand it is hard to spell right, after all, outside of me (and apparently a specific sequence of the human genome), the word doesn't exist (I made it up). Which makes my name unique, and makes me easier to idenify by people who know me.
But yea, about the letter.... many senators are simply form-lettering replies and don't care about our views.
