Totally offtopic, but... my Pixelante shirt arrived today, and let's just say that I should never be left alone with a webcam and a new shirt:

Uh, ok, it took me a wee bit to recover from that.

Ahem. I don't know if you've heard this "home remedy", but I'm told shirts fade at a slower rate if you wash them inside out. Don't ask me why, I have no idea. But it does at least -seem- to work.

... who keeps thinking of "Wash" from Firefly when I see his name?

"We gotta go to the crappy town where *I'm* A hero!"

"(alarmed) "Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!?" (deadpan) "Oh right, that would be me. Back to work."

Hey, don't look at me, I'm quilty of the crime of never getting the chance to see firefly when it was on due to work. As it stands, I'm playing elder scrolls Oblivion, which, In my opinion, it proof beyond doubt, that games can be art. Add it to Shadow of the Colosus.

But, Thanks to all the GP regulars for your support. Won't lie to you all, this was a bit of good news for me in a time of increasingly heaver stress and sadness, mainly due to my fathers condition, his upcoming surgery, his 4 in 6 months, and my own health, which for the last few weeks, was not good.

Dennis, thanks for this, if nothing else, it reminds me that there is some civility and intelligence left in this debate, and perhaps when all the shouting and stupidity has died down, rational voices will rise up to find a real solution.

Thanks to all gp for supporting me. Now then, back to the Games.

I'd just like to say that Oblivion is currently ruining my life. I can't stop playing it lol

Is Best Buy threatening to pull your funding? It's great how you managed to find the one Pixelante who can force out a semi-civil letter without resorting to death threats. You should the kind of mail I get from these Hitler Youth wannabes. These nutjobs claim to be adults, but the only other group of adults I know that resort to such tactics is the Mafia. Curious how games about organized crime are so popular now ( ... )

I'm assuming since this one wasn't banned its not him, right? If not, kudos for whoever it is to make a realistic accounting of his ignorance.

I'd seen the email that was up before and it wasn't the arrogant attorney, and he's used to the same routine. Hell, he signed up for twenty some accounts so chances are he could sign up with that email with his eyes closed. So yeah, my bet was it wasn't real too.
