Okay, okay. Woah. When I saw the raw alone I was angry because of the apparent "and then everything was reset lol" ending. While that really was the case, at least it was...justified?
Still, it's kind of weird. I thought the theme of Di[e]ce was that you can't reset because life isn't a game. BUT THEN LIFE WAS A GAME.
Or maybe I'm just unhappy that everyone forgot each other in the end. Fffff.
It's okay, you are def. not the only one unhappy! But, it's kind of rushed so it wasn't lead up to as much as we wanted it to be, y'know? If you think about it, this is probably the BEST ending-- it's about how if even life is a game, life is still important and it doesn't matter if you are 'human' or not. That's what Kazuki was struggling with the whole time, after all!
BUT YEAH, I. UNDERSTAND. I wish they could've just done an event reset (see: Everything being reset to their bday) but not an identity reset (they remember everything!) Buuuuut that might have been cruel in the eyes of Saryu and Akikage, so idk.
On the other hand, seeing as memories were deleted before BUT it. Wasn't exactly EFFECTIVE in the end means that there is opportunity for memories to be regained even after this. :|b Which is rather true to life, as it is very hard to actually permanently delete info off a computer.
