Does anyone know how to make these work for Tumblr? That's where I"m mainly on now, and I'd love to get some of my followers to join.

I usually just save the image to upload there and write my own blurb with a link. I can never get the html I know/use to translate over there without some difficulty and trial/error. :\

Yes, as marishna said, probably the best way is to save the image and then upload it as a photo post to tumblr with a little blurb/caption about the comm.
