i am a member of WMD, and our guild has been chosen to test Guild Wars. well not the entire guild. just about 12 out of a hundred, or so. but none the less im stoked. anyone else going to be testing Guild Wars?

Well, they're having a public preview at the end of October, so I'm sure gaggles of folks will be testing it. I know I will be!

One part of me has been hoping and looking forward to Guild Wars, and another one fears that what you say is true... *sighs* I hope people post their thoughts on the beta, it should help me make up my mind.
