[Mod Post] Moving!

Well, it's finally happened: got the new fused community up and mostly running! What does that mean, exactly? That means that, for all intents and purposes, game_hush will be closing down. In fact, with the exception of overdue banner posts [which will be posted both here and the new community] there will be no new posts to this comm. If you would like, you ( Read more... )

The new comm looks great! I love the layout. :D

One minor problem: right now the links (before you hover over them) are the same color as the entry background, which makes the entries a tad confusing. You've probably already noticed this, but I figured I'd mention it, just in case . . . ^^;

thank you! ^^

actually, i hadn't noticed. ^^; they show up as a dark green, but mostly legible, font on my monitor; but then, my monitor is notoriously wonky, so i should have probably expected something like that... i'll have to change it to a lighter color so people other than myself can see the links. XD but thanks for pointing that out to me! i'd never have noticed it otherwise, lol.

oh, can i ask you one more layout-related question, though? do the subject titles and weekday portion of the date show up? they're the same color, so i figured they're probably having the same issue...

Days of week, yes. Entry titles, no.

they show up as a dark green, but mostly legible, font on my monitor

Links that have already been clicked show up as the same dark green as the days of the weeks, but unvisited links are black. I think the reason they show up fine on yours is that you'd already visited those links before putting them in the entries. A lighter color for both visited and unvisited links wouldn't be bad - high-contrast is love.

Also, my browser keeps making the page throw up on the expanding-on-hover links.

Other than that, the actual layout is pretty cool.

On the topic of the layout... Might just be because I have a large/oddly sized resolution, but I can see half of the user icon in the layout~ 8D; (And yesh, I use Firefox.)

ah, i hate it when that happens, lol. i have an abnormally high resolution, too, so usally i can beat that by making freakishly huge headers. [this time i fail.] thanks for pointing that out, though! i don't think i can do anything about it other than disabling the default user pic, but i'll fiddle. ^^
