As I remarked to someone who commented on AO3, this version of Sylar has Asperger's Syndrome, and probably more than he had it in the show (I'd buy that he didn't have it in the show at all).

Also, Peter is VERY lonely here, desperately so, which I think fits with an ASD Sylar and Peter recognizing the signs.

I love Peter’s moment of ignoring the touch. It (touch) is so familiar to him that he doesn’t react to it each and every time. It shows his trust in Sylar ( ... )

The fingers were from one of your fics, yes. I get little things from all over that inform my writing and I really liked the finger thing. Not that I think Sylar would demonize any particular part of his body as being responsible when the rest of him wasn't, but I think he'd recognize it as the instrument that carried out the killing.

I made Peter way more forward and willing in this fic than normal, but we don't see any of the lead-up. It's implied in Sylar thinking about how much touching Peter had tolerated. For Sylar maybe that was just testing limits. Peter more likely took it as foreplay, and for this fic at least, didn't have a big objection to it.

Peter’s mockery about the uncleanliness of the mouth is awesome, again, putting Sylar in his place, forcing him to think about his own opinions and desires ( ... )

He remembered sitting in front of the TV in the 80s, ... while Peter had sat there, slumped on the couch at the age of sixteen,

LOL! Um, that should be in the 90s, not the 80s. Either I had a typo or somehow substituted my own age for Peter's. Neither seems likely, so I don't know what happened, but I'll go edit the entry to read '90s' from now on.
