Ha. Must be something about the chapter. I found it lurking in my draft folder from the end of October, all poised to be sent to you but apparently it had never gone. So I decided to heck with it, I'd just go ahead and post it.
I like that Peter starts to enjoy Sylar's discomfort or difficulty in phrasing it as a request. Either it's a little sadistic for him or just plain amusing, either way, I like it

That's a very interesting distinction and you sum it up perfectly - EQ v IQ. I understand both intelectually but I think Peter's really splitting hairs on the emotional/choice side. That's just my opinion. I like that Sylar understands that Peter's giving him respect and eventually, he'll understand that Peter making a *choice* to respect him is even better.I think I could have phrased it better in the story. Sylar's saying, 'Here are these things that are important for you to know' and Peter's like, 'No, they aren't.' And that stumps Sylar, because he thinks they're important. Then Peter says, 'Is it important to you that I know these things?' And Sylar's like, 'Uh ... yeah?' And Peter's, 'Okay. Then I'll learn them.' Sylar's like, 'Then you agree they're important?' Peter, 'They're important because they're important to you. That's all.' That leaves Sylar sitting there looking perplexed and concerned, because his whole point was that Peter had missed out on important learnings. The idea that Peter's only values knowledge in relation
