The wall is finished so did Matt just start right back on it the second Peter collapsed or what?
In reality, it takes a day or two for masonry to cure enough for there to be dust like we see at the end of the show, but I'm going to ignore that and think only of the amount of time that it takes a single, overweight, mostly out of shape guy to brick up a wall like that. And say that yes, Matt must have started back at that job almost as soon as Peter collapsed.
This scene with Sylar all alone with his watches and clocks is breaking my heart for reason I don't want to examine too closely.
I think it's that he's so resigned to it. Just him and his memories, all alone, and ... sort of okay with that. Like suicide.
I agree about Peter's fingers tensing. I think he still wants to kill Sylar.
Also agree about Sylar's reaction - although he does freak out a bit, initially he's friendly and sort of welcoming to someone who shows up out of the blue, acts threatening, and should be a lot of kinds of scary. But Nathan would be fine.
There was a scene that I saw on the season 4 DVD, "Deconstructing Sylar" where they had Sylar touch Peter's chest and pull him in for a hug, he was so happy.. I wish they would have kept it in.

The way Peter tenses his fingers on the parking meter as he walks toward Sylar makes me think he's contemplating smashing it into Sylar's head.
Sylar just looks so happy to see Peter. I want to know how much of that is actually Sylar and how much is left over stuff from Nathan.

I wish they'd left that hug in, too. It would have sold how lonely Sylar was and possibly some of his continuing confusion about being Nathan.
