Here! Getting all loaded up. I think DD3 said she'd be late if here at all. She's having some computer issue.

Long intro, but that makes sense for being near the end of the season.

Weird knobbly boots that Sam has on there. Lydia's not wearing an open-backed shirt!

"After all I've done for them." I hate that line. I've heard it too many times in other contexts, where my contributions meant nothing and the other's meant everything. Which is exactly the sense in which Samuel is using it.

Wow, there's a lot more to that dream than I remember. Which is weird given that I've seen it like a dozen times.

Gretchen is so reasonable. Claire needs her desperately. And no, Claire, you weren't in a good place before. Claire all 'yes, no'. I feel sorry for Gretchen. Must suck to have given your heart to someone whose in such a bad spot.

I see the Primatech logo on the computer.

This is why I like Gretchen. She's clearly the sane one out of the two. Your right that Claire needs her desperately. Claire needs someone to call her on her bullshit sometimes.

Seriously, what has Sam done besides kill their beloved leader and trick a bunch of new poeple into joining them?

Love Gretchen!

I think that's a different, another dream Peter is having. We already saw him wake up from the one Angela had. I like to think that its been a few days, right, and that Peter's been dreaming about Sylar this whole time. Yum.

Yes, I think he keeps having the same basic dream over and over with slight variations, and is then unable to tell if the variations are different futures or new pieces of information about the same future.

Lauren does not handle Claire's questions well. Which makes her look very weak. And an ineffective agent. She ought to be better on her feet than that.

Got a phone call. Be back.

That was bothering me too. She's like some sort of secret agent type, shouldn't she be better at lying if nothing else?

Better at anything! I will say she makes Noah look really good at his job (not that we didn't know that already).

"Are you in my head again?" *chuckles* "Calm down Parkman, that was so two months ago." So this means Sylar was in Matt's head? This always confused me because sometimes I couldn't help but to wonder if it wasn't really Sylar but the projection of Matt's subconscious and powers screwing with him.

Yes! Personally, I like that theory better than the weird soul-split one, but you're right that Sylar's comment (and probable stories he was telling) strongly backs up the idea that his current consciousness is the same one that was in Matt's head before.

"You've become the empath to replace Joseph." So was this why he wanted Peter? He wanted another empath? I'm curious if this means Joseph was an empath like Peter was in the early seasons with "all the bells an whistles" as someone suggested before in one of the previous rewatches.Apparently at some point that we didn't get to see, or that I don't recall, Samuel was told that Joseph's replacement would be an empath who would join them very soon, or be revealed to them very soon. So he went ( ... )

Apparently at some point that we didn't get to see, or that I don't recall, Samuel was told that Joseph's replacement would be an empath who would join them very soon, or be revealed to them very soon. So he went out and tried (kind of badly) to recruit Peter Petrelli, but did such a lousy job of it that I wonder if he was being insincere.

That would explain some things if he wasn't really trying. He seemed to give up on recruiting Peter more quickly than he did on Claire.

After all, Sylar's "mind" had to go somewhere (stored inside Matt). Matt's BODY was the one to touch SYLAR'S body (as Nathan) at the hospital in...Texas. I literally went "Oh, crap. My whole thing of Sylar in MBU knowing about Matt's life and what went on when Sylar's body-mind were separated might be not only really dumb and inprobably, but not-canon?!" It makes sense to me that that same consciousness (memories and all) would transfer over to the (Sylar's) body.

It was stated that Peter would be the ideal replacement for Joseph and that Joseph had a power (although both were quite late in the season, urgh!) I think the tie-in we were SUPPOSED to draw was that Peter=empath, Joseph's position requires an empath therefor Joseph must have been an empath...Question mark? I do not recall it ever being said that Joseph was an empath on the show. I had to check Heroes Wiki. Good grief, show. Good grief.

Why is Claire trying to run her father's life and dictate his interests? What gives her the right?

Ah, "200 are dead and they're still digging out the bodies" - Ahah! That answers a question for my fanon.

"I've always loved the black and whites" - what is he talking about? Oreos? Some kind of Girl Scout cookie?

Now Sylar blames his powers. Still not accepting responsibility.

"I'm asking nicely" - definite threat. Followed up with the two fingers. "And all I have to do is point." I find that uneasy sigh interesting.

What's written on that notepad?

Peter's still so pissed! OMG, he's so pissed.

Black and whites is cop cars, no? The originals? There are other types, like undercover or pure black ones. They make different brands with different motors, etc. It's all very interesting. That's what I thought it was, anyway, Matt being a cop.

Oh. See, I thought he was referring to something he was eating. But yeah, maybe they were talking about preference for cop car coloration?

I rewatched that section and it's...vague. The tone of his voice suggests he's talking about something that is not present, the tone of 'longing' or missing something almost. My mind immediately went to "black and whites" as in cop cars because that's a slang term for them. I think. Anyway, that was my first and only word association with it.
