In an effort to manage my time better, be responsible, and get the most from my rewatch experience, I am going to do homework now, then my True Blood rewatch, then Heroes.

Be back in a few hours!

This was the episode that provoked me to first write fanfic. In honor of that, tonight I will migrate "Am I Still Nathan Petrelli?" to LJ. Woot! Masterlist will be up by midnight. It's 30K words and ... well, the writing isn't good. But there's funny lines and a lot of proto-ideas that later morphed into more fully-fledged ideas in other fic ( ... )

Wait, has Mo ever met Hiro in canon? I know they met in 5YG...

I know they were briefly on screen together at Kirby Plaza, but then Hiro got thrown through space and time. I can't think of any other time they met.

I love Dial-A-Brother! I like them being supportive of each other. I wish we'd seen more of that in the show, like when they were 'really' brothers.

Peter is awful damn protective. Makes me wonder what happened between that kiss on his neck in his apartment and now ... Total-sub-Nathan comes to my dirty mind.

Why does Peter mouth "Mom" to Nathan? Synathan obviously figures it out without Peter's help. Why would Peter feel the need to prompt him? Nathan's not hung over or acting overtly like an amnesiac - he just mentioned Angela himself! Hilarious as it is, I don't get it.

I don't think Peter's prompting him. I think it's just an 'oh God, our mother is involved' sort of thing. It's a 'I roll my eyes at how much I wish she wasn't involved in this'. But he doesn't want to express such disrespect out loud, especially in ( ... )

Oh, thank God...I think. Mo and Hiro *did* actually meet at some point in canon. I can sleep soundly now (sarcasm)

AHA. That makes so much more sense, the 'oh God...it's M-O-M'

You should always write your bunnies. We enjoy your bunny farm ;)

Mo is with Hiro, Ando, Peter, and Matt when they escape from the plane crash in season 3.5.

Oh, I missed protective Peter. Thanks for noting it!

I thought that too about healing synathan. But, if Sylar's actual consciousness is in Matt, then maybe not. But maybe it could heal Sylar's brain so he remembered who he was.

Mo completely brings it on himself. I'm left wondering why he cares so much?

Ha! I thought it was just me, thinking Claire was macking on Tracy.

A picture with Lyle in it! Woot! Tiny, almost-screen-time!

Claire saying "Freeze!" to Tracy. Ha. I'm sure Claire's getting Elle flashbacks here with the blonde-with-malfunctioning-power thing. A lot of blonde's powers don't work right. On the other hand, a lot of non-blonde's don't either (Peter, Matt, Ted, Jeremy ...)

Angela sent Rene to memory wipe BOTH of them. I think Peter's really pissed about that. Seriously. Like Nathan says, "I thought we were done with this cloak and dagger stuff."

Chandra's tapes "When two or more" - implying that the amplification works between ANY two specials, not just ones unusually attuned to it.

Now why can't we have a scene where Peter needs a hot bath?!? Or Sylar? Of course, we did get to see Sylar baptized, so that's something.

I love Tracy's expression when Claire freezes!

Another thing I love - that Peter gave a big "fuck you" to his mother, and to Rene's suspicion of/at Nathan. It speaks to a loyalty to his brother that I adore.

You just exploded my brain. Gah! I think I may have to do some reading tonight...

Eew, I hated that. I thought it was so cheesy. Especially with the outfit.

Yeah. I would have liked it better if he'd skipped the outfit. :D

I love how Sylar peeks out in every little thing SyNathan does. "There must be a reason the Haitian wanted you to see this" and touching *hims*self in corpse form. Nathan's not that curious.

Why is Peter doing *all* the work in that scene? Sheesh, Nate...

Nathan's mumbled "Yeah..." So cute. And sad.

This is just hilarious to me that Peter's all of a sudden the stable, normalized, mostly-healthy man. Not Nathan.

I hate that inconsistency "Who would let me win by a nose" Um...Peter later says at the funeral that Nathan was hard on him for a reason. Bad example.

They make such a good team!!

Mo, do you realize you're a mad scientist?

Mira, do you realize he didn't hear a word you said or whatever you said had no bearing on his decision-making?

Dude, this scene was so tense!!

I agree - Nathan's not that curious. And it's interesting that he's just sort of sleep-walking through the scene otherwise. Peter's opening the door, checking on things, roaming around being alert, while Nathan's just out of it. I think that Nathan's weakness is allowing Peter to be strong.

I agree the 'win by a nose' is an inconsistency, but with all of Nathan's other flagging, almost wilting and fading behaviors, I think Peter's trying to prop the guy up emotionally here.

Totally. Peter's picking up not only the slack, but getting to lead (and get the proper support...sort of) for once.

Yeah, I know what Peter was trying to do. There were other things he could have listed and that was my beef with it. Ah, S4...

Ha! I know. This could be the healthiest we've seen Peter.

Ahahaha! So true!
