This is very good! :) I like the idea of rebuilding your life, that change is possible. Sylar would normally want to find out any information that has been hidden from him - especially something as personal as his own name, right? But now he doesn't care about that anymore - it seems like before, things just sort of happened to him (even when he was killing people left and right) but here he starts to pay attention to what he truly wants to do with his life and who he wants to be. It's a brave and difficult thing to do.

Oh my god yes!! YES!! I love Sylar being his own master. Refusing to bow down to a prescripted life. Wonderful!

OH! I just love this. His realization is perfect for where he is, and it's so refreshing to see a Sylar chose to keep the name "Sylar" as his own, rather than go back to "Gabriel".

Love it!

Yes, there's reasons for and against keeping 'Sylar'. The two names say very different things about him and his goals. They both want to be special, but Gabriel wants to work within the system and Sylar defies it.

So glad you liked it!
