Yes, it's because of the fight, and some complicated psychological issues Gabriel has going on. Chapter 345 in a really long story means there's a TON of background I'm not providing. But yes, the fight they had consisted almost entirely of Gabriel being an ass and Peter trying to cope with it until he finally said, 'no more; I've got to think about whether I want to stay with you if this is how you're going to be'. Gabriel knows he put his foot in it bad.

I wanted to ask though, why does Gabriel sleep only in his shirt and no boxers or pajamas? Is their some psychological reason or just a preferance? Yeah I'm in a mood these days.When Gabriel would only sleep in a shirt, and Virginia *knew* he only slept in a shirt, and she didn't want to see him naked, then it meant she had to stay out of his room when he was asleep (or was supposed to be asleep).
