Hi. I found your journal while searching for info on Iplehouse dolls and trying to decide “Lion or Soo Ri.” Your photos are WONDERFUL! Alas, they do not make the decision any easier. :D

If you don't mind my asking ...(and if you do, tell me so right off, no hard feelings)...
Were you comfortable with the security in the order process from Iple or did you take precautions a newbie like me might not think of? If so, what?

It's definitely a tough decision! I think I like Lion just a tiny bit better, but I've had a couple of years to stare at them and decide. Lion's features are slightly more angular and masculine. ^_^

As for Iplehouse, I've never had even the slightest problem with them, and I've placed five major orders with them over the past two years. I actually tend to be something of a drum-beating Iplehouse fangirl, because as a company they are both good and wholly sane; I've paid via Paypal and via credit card directly, and never had any problems.

If you're really worried about the security, I recommend that you pay with a credit card via Paypal. Paypal will keep your credit card number safe, and by using an actual credit card, you'll be able to do a chargeback if, for whatever reason, the transaction goes bad. Not that I expect it to, but anything is possible!

I hope you don't mind my adding you either. I found you through your signature on Den of Angels. I'd had my eye on Soo Ri and Lion for a while (until they came up with Akando!) so I just had to see these boys in action. :3

I like Jack's story behind his name XP If you name your Akando "Iroquois" I think we're going to have to have a little chat. ^_^

I don't know what my Akando's going to be named yet--I like to actually have the doll in my hands before I hang a name on him--but I'll keep your anti-suggestion in mind. XD
