It's not fair. There was time now!

Sunday mornings always seem a great time, especially when it's mildly sunny in winter. Hence, it is a nice time to make a post. And now, it's February, although it seems to have been January for a long time. I'm happy with the progress I made on my books/films list in January, so I hope I can continue in the same vein.

Last night I read the tragic ( Read more... )

being human, cinema, reading, movies, television, wuthering heights, books

Ahh, your list is totally kicking my lists ass! You are epic!

I don't cry often in books. I can't remember the last one I did cry in, but I know that I have. I certainly remember crying whilst reading Marley and Me, lol. Oh and Daniel Isn't Talking.

I had that problem with my books. I had to buy another bookshelf.

I want to see Being Human because I've heard good things, but I imagine it is going to be one of those shows that I'm going to have to play catch up on, rather than watch at the time.

Haha, that list is doing wonders for my motivation. I have a distinct desire to add to it as often as possible.

I don't think I've ever cried reading another book (apart from a few Harry Potters), but there's somthing about that story that gets me every time. Oh, I was looking for a copy of Marley and Me yesterday, but I didn't find one. Everyone says it's wonderful, and now it's been made into a film, so it's on my to buy list.

I might have to move my books elsewhere, but I like having them in my bedroom, which is really small. So it's a conundrum.

The pilot and first episode were really good, so I hope you do get round to it.

Oh, I did cry with the last HP book! And the 6th one too - thanks for reminding me. I'm not as heartless as I thought.

Marley and Me is a cute and easy read. I read a few years back, because I love dogs :D

Yea, the 6th one just had me in floods of tears by the end.

Well, it sounds good ;)

ah i know what you're going through i have trouble with my space for books too... I had to do such a shamefull thing and put some of the books behind other (guilty as charged) but it's only books from slovak literature, that is boring as hell :)
I think I'll come for an advice about what should I read next once I finish the books from library
hope you solve your problem soon, maybe it's time to use your superpowers on your parents to convince them to buy/make you another shelf :D

Books are such a constant trouble! I think I'd hate them if I didn't love them so much :)

I'd be happy to recommend a few books! I have a huge pile of things to read, so there's plenty to rec.

Thanks, I hope I do too! I may have to make a trip to Ikea, or move some of the books out of one of the other many bookshelves we have, and sneak my books in. It's going to be difficult.

Wuthering Heights is next to read on my reading pile. It was a toss up between that or Tess of the d'Ubervilles, and I wish I had chosen WH because the horse just got killed in Tess and I am very upset D:

Tess of the d'Ubervilles is on my to read list as well. Damn BBC adaptations end up with me buying many classic novels :D Have you read WH before?

Yea, for me, it just gets more and more tear-inducing. Gah, even when I know what's going to happen, I can't help it ;___;

I got next to nothing done in regards to reading or seeing movies in January. I can't believe one month is already over! Where has the time gone?

I loved Wuthering Heights! We read it in school, and everyone complained. But I thought it was brilliant.

Well, good luck to you for February! To me, I think January seems right, as in not too long or too short, for some reason.

Aw, you got to read it in school? I wished I did. Although we did get to read Great Expectations, and some people didn't even finish it. I had already read it myself!

Heh I saw it and my God what a brilliant episode, I am really loving the recast.

After tonight I think I might need to write me some Annie/Mitchell fanfic x3
