I was unimpressed by the corkscrew - too short, not scary, cost extra - and preferred the free fall (the best) to everything else. In the later years RP went downhill - the food, the rides, the general upkeep and even the clientele all became intolerable.
Many, many, many times I rode that coaster. I think the last time I was at Rocky Point Park was.. hm.. 1992? It was with my soon to be wife (now ex) so maybe we cursed it? Possible. Nevertheless, I went to RP many times in the 80's with my best friend, and we rode everything they had as often as we could manage. Until it was time for clam chowder and clamcakes and watermelon. In the big dining hall.. damn I loved RP.
