No, I never heard of Pogs until now. Thanks. Interesting that a milk-cap (or milk-cap derivative) game would develop after milk caps themselves were no longer in use.

You and I, in throwing out our comic books, baseball cards, milk-bottle tops, soda bottle caps, created value for the eBay entrepreneurs of today. Without our efforts, that ephemera would be worth, maybe a quarter in mint condition.

I still have my stamp collection, though.

I don't know if it's Munroe, but there is definitely a dairy around here that makes superb chocolate milk in glass bottles. I've seen it at Whole Foods.

You've got my palms sweating! I go to Whole Foods and will have to check it out. Dietary considerations and my mean doctor, however, will limit my intake. But thanks!

If you want a novel that both exudes and inspires the magic of comics from the 40s and 50s, I recommend 'The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay.' It'a amazingly well written and, more importantly, you come away from the story feeling more alive.

Thanks for the recommendation, whoever you are. I don't relate to comics any more, magical or otherwise, except that my life itself seems to have become one inadvertent and vapid comic strip. I shall check it out though.
