[...., because Iji doesn't really know what to say to that :<]

There's a lot of things I miss from home. But there's not really anything to do about it but focus on today and try to make this place have something worth missing. It's no good just thinking about what you can't have, right?

I suppose. But I don't think its right to just try and forget about all of it.

Of course not, memories are really important. But moving forward is too.

I think I know what you mean. I'm still trying to go on without guilmon here. Its just, it seems like everything reminds me of him.

Yes I know how you feel...but please, try not to be sad. You will be able to return to those things very soon.

I'll try, Ms. Belldandy. It's just, I can't seem to stop thinking and worrying. Mostly about guilmon, but about everything else too.

I see...why don't you go out and have some fun with your friends? It'll get your mind off of everything. If only for a little while.

I went out earlier with Amu to play in the snow... and I'm kind of still cold from that. But I might see if there is anyone around who wants to play something.

Perhaps....

May I ask what your home was like, Takato-kun?

Mmm, I lived in West Shinjuku. It was a nice place. Pretty quiet except for the digimon. My parents own a bakery there.

Ah, a fine area of Japan, I recall. It's been a while since I've been there, not just because I've been stuck here.

Mmm, they had almost finished fixing all the damage when I was pulled here.

We all return home eventually, Takuto-kun. Don't lose hope.

I'm trying to hold on to my hope. But it sees like it keeps getting further away.

You'll have to sneak up on him, then, and hope when he's not looking.

*That surprises Takato into a small laugh.*

Thats an interesting way of looking at it!

Yea, it seems like its all the little things that hurt the most. 'Cause you're not expecting them. Like turning around and expecting someone to be right behind you. But they never are.

I know what you mean. I've been completely lost ever since guilmon left.

Ah, my home? I lived above my family bakery in a place called West Shinjuku.
