I've been here in Discedo a long time now. I lost track of the months a while ago, but I think it must be getting close to two years now. I wonder how Mom and Dad and all my friends are doing.

...But I'm kind of afraid that I'm starting to forget what Shinjuku was like.

I remember them better. But we all lived in Shinjuku. Its kind of painful not remembering what my classroom at school looked like or which floor Jen's apartment was on.

I liked it. There was a great park, and I liked living over my family's bakery.

Nice. It isn't as busy as other parts of Tokyo. My family runs a bakery, and we live right over the shop. There's a great park too. I spent a lot of time there with Guilmon and all my friends.

Two years, though. I've watched a lot of other people go home and come back, but I never have.

I wonder if my friends would even recognize me now. I was eleven when I came here. Now I'm almost thirteen.
