I almost never see movies in the cinema. It has to be something really special for me to do so. But in 2010, I went to see The Expendables as soon as it was released. I remember coming home that night, basically throwing myself at the computer to write fanfic (while eating leftover, stale popcorn). Anyway, because I'm me, I never completed it

Thanks, definitely worth the wait! I love the way you have made canon meet fanon: no visible seams. And I also love hunky angst, so Gunner being hurt and stoic is just yummy. Frustrated Barney is great too. XD

Yeah, that's me. I've only been using that account for Yuletide, though. I'm not really into crossposting -- but if you say that there's a potential fandom over there... Eee, I'm so very happy you liked the fic! I've got a huge grin on my face right now -- seriously, thank you. You saying that their relationship came across as credible and true to canon is pretty much the best compliment you could've given me. And, JSYK, I completely blame you and eve_n_furter for the fact that I'm now toying with the idea of writing a smutty sequel.
