They're not all old...and yes, there is a Matchbox 20 in there somewhere.
They are a wild mix of genres, though...that's probably part of why you're not getting them. S'okay...
BTW, got your letter today, but it was near the bottom of the mailbox (been a few days since I've hiked to the mailbox). Interesting that you used one name on the envelope & another inside...
As far as I remember, my old Queen (Greatest Hits??) album had #17 and Fat Bottomed Girls one after the other...I think Fat Bottomed Girls was first...followed by #17, if that helps.
#19's a good one...one of the most-played on my iPod, because it's in a few of my playlists.
HA! I certainly know number 1 & 2, but it's probably not fair of me to post those answers... I'm scared that the young'uns don't know so many of these songs. Gawd, do I feel old.

I receive mail with various combinations of my maiden name & married name, even the big, scary, hyphenated version that's on my driver's licence.

#16 is "Smooth" - Rob Thomas and Santana?
#17 can't be that easy....."Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen?
#19...damn. Is it by the Doobie Brothers or CCR?
And I know #12 too. Is it "Out of the Frying Pan" by Meatloaf or "Summer in the City"?
I think I really like your taste in music.

#17 is not quite that easy - right group, wrong song
#19 is not CCR
#12 is neither "out of the frying pan" nor "summer in the city"
Thanks for playin'! I have bizarre taste in music...this is but a glimpse into my iPod...
