I'm taking a break from LJ. I just don't feel it nessisary for my life to be a public forum anymore. Besides, these things cause more prblems than they solve. No, actually they never solve problems, but they always seem to cause them. If you need to contact me, if its important enough, I'm sure you'll find me. Bye.

An LJ isn't a problem in itself. I, personally, feel like it is a good way to keep my friends (who are spread around the world at this point,) updated on my current interests, health, etc. in a way that I am unable to do in other ways.

While I can understand quitting an internet forum because of drama, or something in that vein (where jackassery is the norm,) stopping all posts on LJ seems excessive. My recommendation is to maybe just rethink your approach to posting, and adapt your written content/how often you post/how much comments affect you.../etc. as you see fit. It's a matter of your own self confidence and point of view. Ganbare.
