I know you are using the term "Teabagger" to insult Tea Party supporters, but I find the term somewhere between uncomfortable and offensive in a sexual harassment sort of way. The act of dipping one's balls into a prone enemy's face is something that only men can do to degrade other people, so women are automatically the (non-exclusive) recipients of teabagging in that they can never perpetrate it.
My response to this particular use of "Teabagger" is very akin to my response to when Dan Savage declared every day to be "Masturbate to Christine O'Donnell Day" (second letter). Yes I know that Savage would do this for a male political candidate as readily as for a female one, but using masturbation to the thought of one particular woman is degrading and disempowering to all women in a way that doing so to one particular man is not.
I use the term because of the two terms they commonly use for themselves, "Tea Partier" and "Tea Bagger", I hear the latter one used more, and I find it entertainingly inappropriate that they call themselves that.
