001 ☆ Video/Action for New Bark & early Route 29

…Huh. [Before anything can be seen, that sound of thought can be heard. But with the shift of a hand, you can see bright red eyes, a mop of red hair, and a dazzling smile.]

The map says the nearest one is one town over, and I haven't been there, yet.

Just past Route 29, west of New Bark Town. It's pretty much your only way out.

Yeah, I was kind of figuring there was no other way out... Is it far to get to this Cherrygrove City place?

Don't remember there being a store in New Bark Town. It's about three days walk to Cherrygrove, if I remember right - well er, actually, it might take longer for you, wouldn't it, since there's so much snow. Traveling in winter is such a pain...

But yeah, there's a store there, and they'd probably sell stuff like that there. I don't see why they wouldn't.

Didn't see any carriages or anything like that around, no. That would be nice, though, if they did have them. No need to walk, no need to get assaulted by birds every five minutes...

Oh. [He's just thinking about this for a minute. Even Southern Cross has buses and that's just a tiny island so he's still a bit dumbfounded by it.] I guess I'm just gonna have to walk there, then! But wait, assaulted by birds every five minutes? I guess they really don't like being disturbed.

[He laughs a little, starting to shake his head. And then he kind of frowns.] I don't think you missed it at all... I really don't think there's anything here. How does a whole town not have a single store?

Still, don't the people who live here need to... eat and stuff? [Trying to wrap his head around this place.] It's pretty weird stuff, if you ask me.

[At the sound of Rei's voice, Takuto looks up, a bit surprised at the presence. Of course, seeing her as bundled up only makes him more curious -- though he couldn't deny that her thinking was pretty smart. He was freezing wearing only his oddly-colored school uniform. He too, would end up sick if he didn't find shelter or warmer clothes soon.]

Oh, huh. Yeah, I was going to check there too--

[Takuto pauses, cocking his head to the side slightly, but offering a charming smile.] Hey, shouldn't you get inside too, then? You're going to end up pretty sick this way! At least for a while - the warmest part of the day's probably passed already. That would be the best time to stay outside, if we have to face it without winter clothes...

[It doesn't bother him in the least; he almost wishes he thought of it... considering his plan was to run nonstop in the snow to Cherrygrove. He doesn't seem to be too bothered by her lack of reaction, still smiling brightly and doing his best here.]

It's more likely, yeah. I mean, you may not at all, but isn't it better to try and prevent it? [He pauses, processing her first statement.] Eh? Are you waiting for someone?
