There's just something about your characterization that drives me mad because my mind is just painting the scenes out clear as day. The only tiny tiny tiny issue I have is that...some of the speeches are hidden in the midst of chunky paragraphs. Not that it isn't right or structurally wrong, just that the impact of the words spoken isn't as strong (in my opinion, at least).

"You, you will be safe. I swear it, upon my honor as a prince."

re: the speech placement - ah, i see your point, kind of. im a very wordy person naturally so it also leaks into my fic-writing, and sometimes things get...lost. ill be more careful of that in the future, thank you~

a sequel might come in the future, but not promises when im drowning in wips!! this is a dynamic id like to come back to, and also there are a lot of loose ends that need knotting though. ill keep it in mind :3

Woah, this is a really cool plot. Somehow I started picturing the Lucis King as SM, lol (especially after the DBSK break up reference).
I really like Kyungsoo as the honest, hardworking, honorable solider character (that type of character that's always somehow included in epic fantasy stories) that finds out his life is built on lies. I can see him maybe not completely convinced that Jongin is right yet, but still deeps down know Jongin's honest, and therefore does something that his sense of duty tells him is wrong, but his moral tells him is right.
Looking forward to the potential sequel! n_n

(and I read some of your other stories too, as a silent reader, and I just have to say your writing is fantastic and your plots are awesome)

phew, im really glad that you got that out of kyungsoo--the ending was a bit rushed, and i was kind of worried those things wouldnt come across to readers? hopefully ill be able to take that farther in the sequel~

It went maybe a bit fast, but as I see it this was a situation where they didn't have much time, and therefore it wasn't out of place to have a little rushed feeling.
For me it came across easily, but I'm pretty used to this type of character/situation from other books/movies, so maybe a reader with less experience with this genre wouldn't get it as fast. But then again, if they don't like that genre they probably wouldn't read this anyways n_n
