So, my parents were telling me that they watched a DVD at the weekend and didn't understand the plot at all.

After listening to them telling me how there were just 3 voices saying "and look, there's the moon rover, that thing was only a foot long" etc, I realised they had been listening to the audio commentary instead of the dialogue.

*sigh*

Oh, man, your parents are priceless! I love them. ^_^ (And at least there's an understandable reason... swear to god, my mum needed hand holding through The Fellowship of the Ring and then a detailed explanation of it afterwards. We saw it in the cinema - no handy reason there. :D)

Most of your posts make me smile, because even when the event you write about is not a terribly pleasant one, you somehow transform it into an interesting/funny one. :)
